The Pacific 1500 Series Vertical Windlass features a High-Performance 1500-Watt motor that delivers a maximum pulling power of 2645 Lb / 1200 Kg and a maximum working load of 800 Lb / 400 Kg, with a drop speed of 52 feet per minute. The waterproof IP66 rated motor is a crucial component, as the Five Oceans Windlass model number indicates the electric motor power (Watts), not the pulling power. When choosing a windlass for your boat, the electric motor power (Watts) is the most important value to consider.

Designed for under-deck installation, this Vertical Windlass features 4 standard 3/8 Inch (10mm) thread mounting studs, washers, and nuts, accommodating deck thicknesses up to 2 Inches (50 mm). The vertical rotation about the deck allows for a reduced volume above the deck, as the electric motor and gearbox are situated in the chain locker. For optimal performance and functionality, we recommend this 1500-Watt Vertical Windlass for boats up to 60 Ft / 18 m, depending on the boat's style.

The Windlass Kit includes the Pacific Windlass 1500, a 3-Wire Solenoid, 135A Circuit Breaker, Up/Down Foot Switch, Rocker Switch, Manual Top-Cap Handle, Owner's Manual, Mounting Hardware, and Mounting Template. The Windlass manages the rope and chain with the use of a special spring-loaded tension arm, ensuring seamless operation.

Crafted with marine-grade durable materials, the Windlass features a solid, polished, and anodized 316 Stainless Steel Housing. Most of the components are made by hot forging, allowing them to withstand the high-load strain.
